Cecil Hodgson studied Analytical Chemistry holding a London University degree in Physics and Chemistry - and subsequently worked for the Unilever Group for 30 years, during that time he worked on new product development, sales and marketing, for seven divisions.

He was accepted internationally as an expert in his field and travelled extensively to Europe and South America presenting papers to Unilever companies and potential customers.

He left the company to establish Techclean Systems cc in 1994, as a sales marketing company.

In 1997 Techclean Manufacturing cc was established, as a manufacturing company, to facilitate the standards that Techclean Systems cc required, as they were unable to source a reliable company to manufacture the quality products that Techclean Systems needed to supply to the market place.
